Established in January 2021 by Danstan Moturi, our journey began as a heartfelt dedication to my father, Michael Asati, an unwavering chess enthusiast who continues to embody enthusiasm, passion, sacrifice, and generosity for the game.
Guided by his legacy, Michael Chess honors his love for the game and his mission of advancing it. As a respected player, coach, and mentor, Michael Asati's influence continues to shape the chess community in Kenya and East Africa.
